Comments on Taiwan international cartoon contest Judgement of |
|
| In this year a new int'l cartoon contest was held in Taiwan, it's based on the government (payments & judge...), denominated by the country name. It's an un-usual case. Unfortunately, it's not sucessful, and even not too honorable. It's not honorable, because they declared "the first time int'l cartoon contest in our nation" in a few mediocre newspapers. it's a lie . It's not successful, one among reasons is the contest asks unpublished works , and asks all artists to provide with their IDs, but a lot of old ideas still are selected and win prizes. ( I was a jury there for the final round, voted few, but hard to be responsible for 1st round) If you look for a world-scaled cartoon contest in Taiwan which is really Independent The best choice now is Courage World
Cartoon Contest, which 's we will hand in hand together with great artists to ---to be continued (more behind the screen to come )

| (2) LIE & THIEF |
| To prove my previous article, I randomly chose one among quite many "co-incidences", and to display them (as below) very reluctantly........... because in most cases, I only made comments on works printed in world top media, etc. because the author is NOT a thief. Most important, because I firmly believe, the author is a kind-hearted gentleperson, so that he worked on this theme The mistake is the contest should not selecte old ideas The mistake is the contest should not choose the theme "peace", but did something "not peaceful" The mistake is few media in Taiwan like Ming-sen Daily (a sub-system of United News, now is bankrupted ) should not print un-true news ............. although the United News just reported a paper about Taiwan's newspaper-media is not ahead in Asia. The mistake is .................. ---to be continued

| (3) Still Top of the world |
We are still No.1 in a number of world best search engines ('03)
We have been on the top for a few years continously. So many greatest artists contribute their talents, this contest
exhibit world-class talents in a non-profit, un-biased, worldwide site.
Most biggest winners in the 4th contest are sort of editorial
cartoons, they simply sketch the truth/facts, Some caricatures are about the same as, or even better than fine art painting, many people taste and love them. Very few cartoonist complained about the judgement results,
